I know it's been out for ages but as a mother who never gets out I get to see movies only when they make it to On Demand. I just finished watching the movie and all I have to say is god damn that was a good movie!

Yeah, they did a real good job with that one. I'm looking forward to the next installment.

That was one of the few movies I actually went to the theater to see this year. I wanted it for christmas, but I got king arthur instead. Damn relatives can't get nothing right.

I actually saw it at the theater as well (and I don't go often.) It was excellent. Exactly what a Batman movie should be like.

I saw it last week on DVD. Well done, and not as corny as the other installments.

The first batman was good as well, but this one took the cake. Only movie to come out in the last year that I've watched twice.

And by the way, hated Crash, stopped it after 45 minutes. I watched more of Christmas with the Cranks than that movie.

Ya I think it was better than the first Batman, the others were just crap.

Batman returns and Serenity are the only movies from the last year I have watched more than once. I'm hoping they bring Firefly back for a new season.

I like action movies when they're done well and it's not often you find one. But from beginning to end I was completely enthralled and I have to say, I was kind of disappointed when it was over. I wanted the story to keep going, and it's rare I get that feeling.

The actors did a stupendous job, it was great seeing such actors as Morgan Freeman, Michael Cain, etc, bring the story to life.

Good flick, i liked the darker quality of the film which is what the Comic potrayed.

I hope they let this director do the next one and return to the tosh that the last couple have produced.

Haven't seen the trailer for X-Men 3 yet, but the Superman trailer worries me. I hope it doesn't end up being some artsy film all about his feelings.

Aye, the Superman 3 movie worries me as well. But I have hope.

I saw the X3 trailer when I went to see King Kong. It looks like it has promise. It's gonna have Beast in it, so that should be cool.

I also saw the MI3 trailer, which didn't look too bad. I have a hard time taking Tom Cruise seriously lately though, after his antics of the past year.

It was definately what all of these comic movies should aspire to. I really look forward to Superman returns, but at the same time I fear it. I might be #12, but I kinda got emotional seeing the teaser for the first time.

That costs money. I am not in favor of spending my own money. I have other people spend their money on me. Hell, I don't even buy my own lunches at school, other people do.

And yet I have over a grand in my room alone......

Having an excess of cash when you're a kid living at home and have zero true expenses is hardly noteworthy. I'd be more impressed if you weren't crying about how no one gave you the $15.99 movie you wanted so now you can't watch it.

Saw Batman Begins and it was good enough though, for the life of me, I can't even remember who the antagonist was so it must not have impressed itself too deeply upon me. Someone mentioned seeing King Kong which I just saw the other night with the ladyfriend and it was quite good. I was expecting it to be fun eye-candy but Jackson really did do a good job with it. Though I did wonder why a tyrannosaur would go through that much trouble to eat something that wouldn't fill it up any more than we would be by a cocktail weenie. The thing probably expended more calories in the first thirty seconds of the chase than Ms. Darrow could have possibly provided.

Do people truely not get sarcasm anymore?

Whining?

Why would I whine about a movie? I rarely watch anything on the tv, movie or otherwise. There are very few movies that I am actually willing to sit down and watch all the way through. Sure, some movies have a couple good scenes in them, but few can actually keep my attention enough to sit through them more than once or possibly twice.

I'm a sucker for Tim Burton's style, but Christian Bale is high on my list too. I loved him in Equilibrium.

*Head to fist*

I'm out.

edit: And where did I say I was rich? All I did was point out the fact that I could, if I so desired, afford to buy the movie myself. Rich? No. $15 for a movie? Yes. See the difference, Shakespeare?

I think it was the part where we were supposed to be impressed with the "grand in your room alone". Go on now and say how you weren't really trying to brag. I'm sure we'll all be listening Smiley: laugh

That was a great movie too. Bale just seems to do really well in the cold, dark roles that he has done.

American Psycho
Equilibrium
Batman Begins

i know there are more, but i cant remember them.....he also did good in Reign of Fire, even though it was a little bit of a differant role.
