Different Signatures for each forum. Or a choice of at least two signatures and I get to choose which applies to what forum.

1. Make me a moderator so that I can ban people on a whim and change their posts to say really silly stuff.

2. Numbers back. Karma with kno knumbers sucks kock like katie.

3. Make a feature that allows you disable the sigs images. (Oh wait, they've already done that, pay attention you twats)

4. Make me a Guru.

5. Fix the stupid Edit Post function that makes inserting any type of brackets automatically insert them at the end of the post. That **** is so annoying.

1) Consider implementing a system similar to Slashdot where an adjective is picked to describe a post, but also keep the current 5-step rating list. Basically, rating a post takes two steps. First, select from the current list (Awful - Excellent). Add a second drop-down list with adjectives like Funny, Interesting, Insightful, Flaimbait, Redundant, etc.

Make the most used adjective visible with the post's rating, and if you click it, have it show the adjective and rate history. There is no need to show the name of the person who did the rating to a normal person as abuses should be readily apparent. This will stop people who complain about rate-downs where a person never posted why they disagree. A positive or negative identifier could be applied to each adjective to stop people from rating something awful while describing it with a positive adjective.

2) For crying out loud, make my chosen title ", Defender of Justice." "Sarlos, Defender of Justice" makes way more sense than "Sarlos Defender of Justice."

3) Allow users to make comments on their bookmarks. It would be nice for me to be able to remind myself why I bookmarked a certain post or thread.

4) [:trollfood:] [:badtroll:] [:yhbt:]

5) Make me a Sage.

I wrote this on the EQ Forums but what the hell i'm trying to pharm my way to a 4th star anyway so what the hell.

I would like an "ignore poster" option so that i could turn off the drivel that certain posters produce.

I would like an Ignore Redundacy option that would automatically skip over redundant replies from posters who weren't paying attention.

Oh, and has anyone thought about an "Ignore Posters" option yet?

I hate to /hijack a thread, but I really would like to bring up the point that I would like to see the Admins compile a new list of most requested forum enhancements.

Please take a moment and compose a list of 1-5 improvements you would like to, in an ideal world, see in the forums here. Maybe Kao could start a thread in all the forums, asking these same "forum improvement" questions.

We definitely, want to know what the Ffxi posters feel about Karma ratedowns, gil sellers, server politics, and the always funloving"LOLBIFRONS thread", even though you asked them about "forum improvements".

Let us also not forget, the 'red-headed stepchild' of Alla's, Planetside. I'm sure the Admins are looking forward to the "forum improvement" replies to whoever visits there by accidently clicking on that forum sometime in the next 3 months or so.

1) Yes, please make a Ignore poster option for premium members only. That would be enough to get me to renew my premium again.

2) 120 X 120 Avatars.
#44 Dec 30 2005 at 4:57 PM Rating: Good
1) Spell checker

2) Bring back rating numbers

3) Ignore poster

1. Ultra basic forum template option. With no pictures or smilies. White on black with minimal graphics. So I can waste time here from work and it can look more like I actually do something for a living.

2. Ignore poster would be swell.

3. I prefered Numbered Karma.

4. It is anoying when you qoute something in Edit and it pops to the bottum. Also maybe not add a new last edited line everytime you edit. I know I caan erase it but why should I have too?

5. Acounts that have logged on from the same IP should not be able to rate each other.

OH yeah,

Is it possible to "log out" a user if they have changed their password and were logged into another machine. I recently discovered that my ex g/f still had access to my account even though I had changed my password.

1. Ignore Poster feature.

2. Remove the sad eyesore sig images.

3. Allow changeable titles like Reeve said I've been blue for quite awhile.

4. Eliminate the filter. I mean it.

5. Give me free premium till I die.

It doesn't really work for people with more than a couple thousand posts, it's a database problem.. the query just times out.

Yeah, but they tied it in with being able to see avatars or not. I'm down with avatars but the WoW sig images are Smiley: llama

Ignore function, bring back karma scores, limited accounts... etc etc. I don't think I have any unique ideas to share.
