Want to go skiing?....Follow

Don't. Fuck off.

I live in Lake Tahoe. I work in a movie theater. I deal with the cold every year, the tourists who make me want to punch babies (it's okay _ythe_, I don't know where you live so your baby should be allright), and the boredom that is living in a resort town with nothing for locals to do.

This is just simple venting, but the truth is, I'm tired of you people. Sure, without you we'd be screwed; doesn't mean I have to like all of you stupid-XXL-sperm-producing people.

Anyways, any of you regulars reading this ever been up here? Do any of you ski or snowboard? Have you ever planned on vacationing up here?

I snowboard, but I live in Colorado so I have no reason to go to Tahoe.

At least famous people like Sonny Bono die at our ski resorts.

I've been cross-country skiing up there, but not in a few years.

I hate tourists, too, even when I am one. They're a necessary evil in resort towns/tourist destinations, but an evil nevertheless.

No doubt. Governor Bill Owens wouldn't stand a chance.

And don't knock movies with robots, they rock.

Been to Lake Tahoe a few times, but I've only been there once during the winter. Skiing and snowboarding's fun, but genetically I'm not set up for the cold.

I grew up in Ski Country in New Hampshire. I worked at a couple different mountains growing up, and while the tourists are annoying, the locals were usually too stoned to do much of anything, let alone care about the tourists.

I have been to Lake Tahoe a couple of times. Personally, if I am going to drive that far north I'll just stop at Mammoth. Tahoe does have the gambling appeal though. Must be weird living in BFE rural California.
