The caps should say it all. My laptop has finally arrived.

Holy moly, I didn't realize that 17" screen is...well...17". This thing is huge!

Another thing I noticed is that websites and such look very pixely, which I think it's neat. Smiley: laugh I know it's my resolution's fault, but atm...I don't care.

I haven't been this giddy in years! Smiley: yippee

I have the 9300 and love it. There is a IE fix on dell's support site for the pixelated images. I don't have the problem in firefox.

I upgraded to the 6800 Ultra and 2gb ram after I got it. Woo.

I got my dell around this time last year.

The sleek black case, the blazing graphics card, 3.4 gigahertz of pentium four goodness, the sexy flat 2 inch thick monitor of uberness. I am still happy with it and I only hope you have as much luck with your Congrats Elderon. (NOW GO BUY World of Warcraft and play with the Asylumites)

Every now and then I remember my old celeron with the geforce 2 and I feel the opposite of nostalgia.

Congrats Exodus! Nice laptop. Quick question - is this one of the new laptop designs where the video card is upgradeable? I haven't looked at them myself, but I heard Dell was going to be putting them out at some point.

Either way, very nice laptop. We had to retire our laptop from most high end gaming as the video card didn't cut it, but it's still great for most games like Civ IV, Age of Empires, etc. I got my wife the Dimension XPS 6 desktop for Christmas. It came with a 20" widescreen monitor. I had to order the same monitor for myself it was so frikkin' sweet. It arrived yesterday! Smiley: yippee

Congrats again!

Yup. The card is upgradable, but I don't see me doing that anytime soon. Congrats on your system, too!

Good deal - it's great knowing you'll be able to upgrade it when you needed at some point. Since you couldn't upgrade the video card on previously designed laptops, they were only decent for like 3-4 years for gaming. Now yours will last you much longer!

Thanks, my wife is loving her new pc (I got mine last March). I just upgraded the monitor yesterday.
