She must be a pretty good artist!

The Lees told a reporter that they expect to be abducted again in the future.

I dunno... maybe I'd try moving.

Don't you get it, Joph? With the implants, the aliens can find them anywhere!

I recently read a book called The Myth of Sanity, in which the author talks about dissociation and how much more common it is than previously believed. Of course, the definition has been loosened somewhat, as well. Technically, even daydreaming or getting lost in work or a game is a type of dissociation (which is just a fancy word for losing touch with reality).

The author didn't mention it, but I'm wondering if the alien-abduction phenomenon is a way for people to explain "lost time" to themselves.

When I was little I used to wish I'd get kidnapped like in Flight of the Navigator.

Yeah, I've always been this way.

I love that movie. I haven't seen it in years too.

I know this is the least likely option but, what if the family is telling the truth? Could you imagine being abducted, probed, prodded, poked and touched by some alien being? All this, only to return to a planet of disbelieving peers who call you freak on internet forums and TP your house.
