I got on national television over here in sunny England and it was a speaking role too!!!

The fact it was for about a 3rd of a second and my talking role was saying hello to the ships Padre as he walked past me is BESIDE THE DAMN POINT!!

For those in the UK it was on BBC1 on the "shipmates" programme, i was so oblivious to the film crew i didn't even know they filmed me. It was pretty cool watching people i live with on TV though Smiley: grin

That's not even close to famous. If you're ever filmed while on fire, then let us know.

hrm. A girl I used to date worked as an intern for the BBC for a few months. She helped out as a gofer for some children's show, roaming around London fetching various things to act as props for whatever they were filming that day.

One morning they were filming a show involving cute bunny rabbits, but the bunnies wouldn't sit still. Her job was to affix tape to the feet of the rabbits in order to keep them firmly planted in front of the cameras.

British TV is weird.

Phhh everyone's been on TV. When i was 6 i was filmed skiing down a dry ski slop for a new report and i promptly decked it and rolled a good 2 metres. The BBC bastards still decided to show it the bastards.

Is that anything like getting on PBS?

So, like, pretty much anyone can get on?

I was on ESPN2 west or something. It was the most remote ESPN channel one could have.

My wife and her sister were on Romper Room when they were kids. We have a picture and you can see the old-timey TV camera in the studio. I'll post a link when I get a chance to scan the pic in...

I was on the Bozo the Clown show when I was younger, 5 or 6 IIRC. I even got to play the Bucket Bonanza game.

I only made it to bucket 5 []. That clown scared the **** out of me.

Did he make you sit on his lap? Did you feel a roll of quarters pressing up against your rear?
