So I do you all a favor and log in my little rogue last night and what do I get?
*crickets*
What the hell?
I was expecting:
"Thanks for logging in Aegis!"
"OMG it's Aegis"
"Now we're complete! Aegis is playing!!"
I was hoping you'd bring up some of your wonderful anecdotes from your glorious days of goat-****. Sadly, this was not to be.
I guess it just wasn't one of our chatty-cathy kind of nights, but we have them now and again. Some folks just got back into the game and were working out some kinks (DSD and hubby).
Everyone is all over the place in levels at this point, but we now have enough folks around the same levels to get together for a Deadmines instance (as soon as those who can do it get all the quests in there) that maybe we could try for next week/weekend (after Christmas most likely).
I think once people hit level 20 or so we'll be able to start doing more instances and tougher quests to get everyone used to grouping with each other and refining their leet skillz.

Is that the same Starflight that used to be for the PC back in the late 80's? With the crew members consisting potentially of those lizard dudes and the plant dudes and robots and whatnot? And you land on planets and cruise around looking for mineral wealth and capturing native fauna to sell?
'Cause that game rocked.
Yeah, I still have that game somewhere - it was one of the first games I got hooked into.
Other old-timey games that sucked me into the gaming vortex:
Out of this World Wing Commander Wing Commander II Privateer Crusader: No Remorse Crusader: No Regret Syndicate Wolfenstein 3D Just to name a few...
