It is funny because those people that seem the most dead set about getting World of Warcraft end up loving it the most.

I played WoW before and it was fine. Didn't know anyone in game so it really wasn't much fun.

I really don't see myself starting a whole new character over again, but we'll play around for a bit and see what happens.

Have big plans for Frakkor in EQ next year, so I doubt I'd be leaving any time soon.

I had the same problem Frak, I left the game for 3 months because of it. Then I found a good group of people and it was a blastt.

Go figure, that actually having people to talk to makes an online game more fun.

Who woulda thunk it?

I'm actually downloading the 10 day trial right now. Might as well use that for the next few days to see how things go.

I'll play WoW in between clearing CC and Kurn's with my cleric and necro respectivley :)

Having a good guild in WoW makes or breaks the game honestly. There is not alot of forced interaction, which is good at some points, but quieter the majority of the time.

That's funny, I just thought it was Bhodi being a ****. Nothing unusual yet undoubtedly humorous. I'll admit though, Nadenue's hubby was doing quite well with the sparring until Bhodi started getting on about the gravy. I don't think that's a stereotype though, them hillbillies put gravy on everything.

I'm having a lot of fun right now. But I'm not promising anything. I tend to lose interest on online games pretty easy lately. Although, playing with people I know tends to make it more fun.

That's what frustrated me with Guild Wars - beautiful game and a lot of fun, but the lack of jumping really irritates the **** outta me.

FFXI was the king of non-jumping. Look, I can cast Meteor Fucking59 but my 6ft hume can't step of a fucking tree root or jump down a cliff more than 4 inches. Which wouldn't be a problem if that didn't turn the entire map into a single file butt-fuck across every zone.

I played EQ2 for about 4 months...and then I got bored. I made a lot of friends and had a blast. I just lost interest. I keep hearing good things about WoW. However, is it extremely easy to level? Once you get to 60, does the game die? Are there dedicated PvP servers or do you have the chance of being ninja'ed by someone whilst exploring?

P.S. +1 Bodhi. Great story!

Easy to level

Game does not die at 60, you will more than likely burn out before you are through (as I did)

Yes to dedicated pvp servers, if not on pvp server you can toggle it and try to lay a beat down.

Ninja'd usually refers to loots, ganked means you got handed a beat down.

FFXI is teh Suck.

You know what else sucks? Sirius radio. My dad has it in his truck and I've been trying to set it up so he can use it on his computer.

The website was less then helpful so I sent off an e-mail. I got the perfunctory "we will reply in 24 hours" response. 48 hours later they hadn't so I called them up.

Turns out the canadian girl couldnt help me but she gives me a number to the american branch. I call up the guy named "Fernando" with the voice of an latin angel. U explain my situation, answer some questions about the account and he gives me the info. I verify with the IPA, repeat it back he says its correct. I make sure about small case and upper case on the password and account name. I then goto the website and try it and get nothing.

Blech.

I'm not sure this still works and even if it does, it'll be a pain in the *** having to buy another copy and opening up a second account - but if you can get a hold of a U.S. version of the game (online US store like Electronics Boutique or Gamestop, perhaps?) I think you can open an account on the U.S. servers.

This used to work for Aussies before they opened up the Oceana servers.

Yeah, Sirius sucks. You know what else sucks?

Doom 3. That **** is just way to dark to see anything. I use up all of my bullets trying to hit what I think is some Mars-type zombie, which turns out to be an open locker.

I have a flashlight, but it's a useful lips on a duck.

Stupid Doom 3.

You're probably right but to be honest the games not so good that i want my own account that may or may not work.
