Who would be interested in intensively harassing the admins until they effectively started going after Varus and perhap...
Yes, I would be very interested:7 (14.0%)
Yes, I would be somewhat interested:10 (20.0%)
No, I am all together to lazy to put forth any type of effort:30 (60.0%)
No, I like Varus and rate him up from the shadows:3 (6.0%)
Total:50

Just gauging public opinion. Now vote you pansies.

Edit - cause it cut off the last piece of my question "and perhaps no rating or at least talking to the lurkers that rate him up? "

Voted for "too lazy".

He's a moron but there's a lot of morons around here. I can't say anything he's done that's ban-worthy.

There is the thread where he made some incredibly racist statements that prompted Allakhazam himself to reply stating that Varus would be banned and that ban would be enforced.

Trickybeck could look it up for you if he is so inclined (which he usually is).

Meh. Totem makes racist comments all the time. No one demands that he be banned.

I'll give you the point that he was banned before and is posting on another account regardless. But it's not like the Powers That Be aren't aware. If they cared, they'd do something.

Varus doesnt bother me all that much, its the turds that rate him up that are a mild irritant. Like flies buzzing around or jroc hanging off your jock.

I think that is what I would like dealt with, either put up names or talk to em or no rate em or whatever.

If it had said "Undeadshroom" I would've voted "yes."

I just put on the default filter and rate anyone like that under it, self help and all that.

I also advocate freedom of speach and freedom to ignore equally.

so i will allow them to say it so long as i can ignore it, a /ignore feature would be nice though Smiley: smile

What is this? A Zogby poll? ;)

Not to get on a rant or anything, but you've got two options for blanket degrees of "yes", but the only options for "no" are either because I'm too lazy to want to ban Varus, or I "like Varus".

How about the much more reasonable and obvious "I don't like or dislike him, but he's got as much right to post here as anyone else". Your poll questions kinda requires that the only reasons we shouldn't ban someone (ok "admin intervention", whatever that means) are because of personal likes or laziness.

Darn Liberal Pollsters!!!

Hey! I can spoof myself, right?

I didn't even realize he still posted here, it's been so long since he's been sub-default.

Ironic that the rating system actually works for the most part, considering how much people ***** about it.

I already brought this up in the support/feedback forum & was rather pointedly ignored by the admins.

Apprently at least one of the powers that be has had his shaft waxed by the virus.
