What may matter not to you Samira, but does to me, is to see an entire race/culture go through nightmarish hardships for thousands of years (up to 60 years ago) and thrive, THRIVE! That is worth respect.
You had bad experiences, everyone has with one race, religion or culture of another, who hasn't? You have a right to dislike who you chose. But know your audience, and know that your swooping generalized statement could lead to some people being offended. You may not have cared in the least, but as you can see, people do.

Lev. 11:9; Deut. 14:9. shellfish such as lobsters, oysters, shrimp, clams and crabs are all forbidden. Fish like tuna, carp, salmon and herring are all permitted.

What is it with giving the Jewish people the corner on the market of misery? People are persecuted all over the place, all the time. The last great persecution of the Jews took place 60 years ago, and they didn't even get to claim it as just their own persecution. Millions of people were killed, 600,000 Romani FYI, countless homosexuals, non-conformists and anti-****'s.

biggest one we break is the milk on the meat thing..CHEESEBURGERS YUM! (Then we get into having to seperate the cookware, flatware, drying towels etc if you wanted to seperate milk & meat)
