So it looks like an accident but omg .. that sounds horrible.

Is it the week for explosions? We have our own in the UK atm at a fuel depot.

And bleh, posted New York in the title, I meant new jersey and I cannot edit the title

Our buildings tend to do that in Jersey from time to time. It's usually a ****** apartment building that has gas issues...hehe.
