I think I'm driving myself crazy trying to put this together, heh. Actually, it's still a good thing to have alts on both servers, until everyone agrees on which server is best. If everyone prefers the heavier population (Shadow Council), then I'm ok with that, too.
We just need more consensus to make it a firm stance, I guess.

T-meister! Glad to have you join us! Along with the server choices (Shadow Council and Kirin Tor), what faction do you prefer? Alliance or Horde?
Create a toon of each faction on both servers just to be prepared, and post the names here for me to add to our roster up on the opening thread.

Alrighty, in order for Nexa to keep her character name and since Aegis likes Shadow Council, too, lets stay on Shadow Council. While my paladin, Belfry will stay in The Fighting Mongooses, I created Smoggy, a Gnome Mage. Until I folks scream for Horde, lets go with Alliance for now.

That's one thing I hate about WoW. Why would they seperate servers like that? EQ never did and it worked out fine.

Doh! That sucks. Are you able to access the Oceanic servers? I get the option to switch between Oceanic and United States.
With all the great UKers out there, I wish WoW would let us hook up with you on the same servers.

That being said, I've played on Lightning's Blade (which is usually Full) my entire WoW career, and have yet to be in a login queue. So, I wouldn't mind a high-pop server.
Second, how are the BGs on Shadow Council? Are they active at all, or are AB and WSG barren wastelands?
Third, if I remember correctly, I have a couple alts (<10) on Shadow Council that I haven't been paying attention to. Node is an Alliance Gnome Mage, and Postcard is a Horde Tauren Druid.
I should be able to join you in an hour or two.

Smoggy, you're one evil sumofabi[b][/b]tch. I just got myself back into EQ2 ( Blackburrow if anyone plays ) and I can't do other games atm. Just got into an awesome guild that can actually raid well. But if I hit 60 and I start getting bored (Im 57 now) I'll came join you guys. I've got a 60 NE hunter on Dragonblight. Sadly, deep inside Im an alliance chick. I've tried horde again and again, but I cant get into it.

Sounds good, DSD! We're going Alliance but that doesn't mean we can't create a Horde side as well later. I still play EQ2 as well, maybe I could roll up a character there and join you - I haven't really found any decent guild on AB server. Yes, I have a lot of free time...
