For what it's worth, the early peanuts (the ones they never print in the paper anymore) were much more biting and sardonic. When Schulz reached his golden years, he softened up and penned more sentimental crap and hokey jokes.

This isn't a new "problem." I gained weight when I was still in the army the moment I wasn't eating the crap they give you in basic training.

But yes, somewhat, you are right.

My husband's metabolism makes me crazy. We can eat the exact same things for lunch and dinner, plus he eats breakfast and I don't, and I will gain weight rapidly. He has trouble keeping from loosing it. Bah!

You should eat breakfast. It actually helps to get your metabolism going. You would burn more calories throug the day if you did.

Am I gonna have to edumacate you fools on Peanuts? Smiley: motz

For the record, I was never a big fan of most of the movies. I really don't like Race for your life, Charlie Brown. But Chuck himself doesn't bother me much.

You were probably fresh out of high school, I'm assuming when you enlisted , it may just be your body maturing? (granted I'm not saying that looking like Star Jones is maturing)
I'd worry more about whats inside. had a super skinny friend that couldnt even puff out a 12 minute mile(I know thats ALOT of time) & was on pills for her cholesterol.
