By running AWAY from them?
This was a gross overreaction. Forgivable? Yes. Should the murder be charged? No. Should he still have a job carrying a gun at airports? Also no.
yes away from the plane, but towards a crowed building with more people in it then the plane he had just left... yes he was a threat to
PASSENGERS, the end results however tragic they may be was he ended up getting shot and as a result of that shot he died later on.
he did not die on site, he was not shot dead the with the first round that hit him, the federal marshals did their job and they did it well.
some basic bits of information i think Smash is intentionally trying to forget or is trying to manipulate others to forget.
A. guy claims to have a BOMB.
B. guy just came off of a plane from a country with known problems and not the most secure in the world.[edit to add]
as for the potential of his bags being scanned, see statement B.
Quote:
Alpizar had arrived in Miami, Florida, from Ecuador on a flight that had originated in Colombia.
we know that both of those countries just have the utmost security and absolutely NOTHING gets past their guards.... LoL yeah right smash. come on now, you are way to smart for that.
i think you just like to have something to fight about, so unless something more comes to light to change the facts listed here, please try to restrain yourself from further flames.
C. guy threatens and challanges federal marshals.
D. guy makes agresive action towards said marshals.
E. guy refuses to comply with federal marshals commands. mind you had he followed those commands he most likely be
ALIVE TODAY and we would be having an other discussion, if it even made it to the news.
F. guy makes agressive move towards his "bomb".
G. federal marshals shoot him to stop him from activating this "bomb" and killing an untold amount of inocents and himself.
yes the guy was mentally ill. of all of the reports i have read on this yet the federal marshals did not have this information at the time of the shooting, and even if they did they truely had not other option then to stop this "mad man" from activating a BOMB and killing people.
is it tragic, yes, was the shooting justified, H3LL yes.
