Just make sure you wipe front to back too. If you wipe any other way, the baby can get germs down there and get sick. And use warm water.
Also if your going to be doing this babysitting thing often pick up some kleenex viva paper towels. They are almost like cloth and are much better for the baby than baby wipes

Is there some medicine I should carry? She has diahhreah, is stuffed up pretty bad , a bit warm (but I dont know how hot she should be) and of course cranky..
I don't think Bounty is "bad" per se, but he is right, Kleenex Viva is a pretty great brand. I use it, but not on baby's bums generally, heh, so I can't vouch for that.
No medication for sick babies. Just pedialite to make sure they don't dehydate. Pfft. Newbs.

Depending on the age of the baby, I would say apple juice. It is probably best that it is unsweetened, and I would cut it with water.
This is just a guess, I am babyless.

The IP address the last post was made on is indeed Cox cable. The IP address of the posts listed by Danalog were made from a single AOL IP addres. Maybe someone was at a friends house? maybe an account got hacked? i don't know. I don't really care either, i just wanted another post to try and catch Jophiels post count.

I would highly recommend against medicating someone elses baby. That being said it might not be a bad idea to pick up a cheap thermometer if you babysit often. less than 3 months a fever over 100.4 is cause for concern. Over 3 months a fever greater than 102. Do not give a baby under 3 months anything but formula. Also do not give apple juice to a baby with diarrea, you may excaserbate the problem.

Katies back in the Kao camp, wether or not Kao is in the Katie camp. He downloaded yahoo which got him brownie points.
Also babies cannot breathe out of their mouths. They also cannot blow their noses. Sneezing is the only way they have to clear them. You should have one of those little blue nose sucker bulbs on hand to clear stuffy noses, and some saline drops to soften up the boogies. If you do not have saline drops you can make some with 8 oz of warm water and 1/4 tsp of salt.
