Baby pics, folks.
Make.

Background story: At a clinic the other day with a child who wouldn't stop crying, a little girl about a year old. Adorable. Fat, pigtails, and eyes like a Precious Moments figurine. I'm interpreting, the mother is talking about how for two days she hasn't slept more than an hour a day, cries incessantly and has a horrible fever, cough. She wants something that will calm her down because Saturday is her birthday and they have a party planned.

Doctor does the eval and suspects an ear infection but when she goes to check the ears, she can't see in. Mother is young, it's her only child, and she didn't know she had to clean the ears out. She's in the country alone, with just a brother, speaks no English. Doctor asks her to hold her child down so they can clean out her ears. What follows is about ten minutes of hellish crying, kicking and screaming that would just break your heart. The mother's face is buried in the child's stomach and she's mumbling nonsense words to her, and when she looks at me I notice she's crying. The doctor removes a HUGE black ball of wax from the ear, but still can't see in. She has to send the mother home with something to soften the wax. The child is in a paroxysm of coughs, and her face is blotchy and wet. The mother asks me kindly as she rocks her if I have any children, and that's when I realize I am crying.

Good lord. What were they planting in that kid's ears that you'd remove a giant black ball of wax within a year of the baby's birth?

I'm lacking in babies so no pix 4 j00.

I don't know, but it looked like a raisin. Smiley: frown
(Edited for the squeamish nancys)

Katie, that dog did make me smile, but it would be even better if you could dress it up in a diaper.

Birth defect, actually, on my eyes, and my head is skewed by camera angle.

Fortunately you don't have to look like Brad Pitt when you lay pipe like Exxon.
