It's Hump Day! Half way done with the week. So whats on the agenda for this upcoming weekend? Christmas shopping? MMORPG? Sleeping in? Partying?
#2 Nov 30 2005 at 8:33 AM Rating: Good
Morning. Not much planned yet. We like to wait til Friday night before we plan out our weekend. Regardless, there is bound to be drinking.

#7 Nov 30 2005 at 8:40 AM Rating: Decent
Unfortunantly yes. Its the reason I no longer play MMORPG's. Smiley: frown

On Friday I hope to do nothing combined with drinking. Saturday, my goal is to go to UHaul to pay way too much money for special boxes to pack my artwork and pack parts of my kitchen while trying not to spazz out. On Sunday, I have to study for a scary history exam that is on Monday again while trying not to spazz out. Somewhere in there, I need to catch up on a gazzilion Spanish vocabulary words.

I do NOT envy you Kat! Who soon till the move?
#10REDACTED, Posted: Nov 30 2005 at 8:54 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) My weekend begins after today. I'm taking a few days off to collect myself in preparation for December. On those days I'll probably just bike a whole lot.

I think December 22 or 23. So far the plan is to send our stuff away on the 22 but leave on the 23. Luckily my finals are all at the beginning of the week, I just lucked out, so I am done with finals on Friday the 16th. They actually go until the 20th, so I was really worried that I would get screwed with time. This way I have like 5 or 6 days to get stuff done after finals.

A complication came up yesterday though. My husband's 1st Sgt is an ***. There are many reasons I say this, but there are two big reasons that are getting to me right now. Number 1. My husband as of November has 14 days of leave, but December "block leave" is 17 days long. If you count his December leave days, he will have enough. Will the *** of a 1st Sgt let him? Nope. He knows we are moving, and that this is my husband's last time to see me before he deploys, but he doesn't care. At my husband's last unit, before deployment they were allowed to even go into negative leave days - we weren't even asking for that.

The other reason I hate him is that he is giving my husband grief about wanting to live in the barracks from mid-december until they deploy in mid-Feb. Really, since my husband will be on leave, he needs a room from beginning of January to mid-Feb. We only have one car, my husband can't stay in housing if I take the car - how can he get to work and the grocery store? We live off post. Anyway, the evil 1st Sgt says we are just trying to "get money off of the government" because our housing allowance will kick in, yet he will be living in the barracks. I want to see the actual regulation on this. There is a way to deal with geographical bachelors, and that ain't it. I am really mad. So we may not be able to clear housing....I don't know what we will do.

*sad*

Off on Friday except for one assignment, at my part-time for Saturday, then hopefully off on Sunday, so I can laze about and watch TV while painting my toenails.

I miss TV.

Good morning, afternoon or evening, whichever is applicable to you. Have to attend a Christmas party for my husband's former command Saturday night. My parents are coming to visit for the weekend as well so they will be spending time with our kids while hubby and I are at the party.

Have some papers and homework to do also for college. Thought I was going to be done this semester and get my 2nd degree, then found out I can get a 3rd degree if I continue for the Spring and Summer terms next year.

Also need to figure out what the oldest son wants to do for his birthday next week. He's going to be 14. Since liquor and strippers is just a tad inappropriate and illegal, at a loss for ideas.

Planning to relax since Thanksgiving week was hectic. I will however be going over to my sisters house. Her husbands company is flying them to Chatsworth next week for their xmas party and so I get to be a good aunty and babysit the little munchkin for 4 days. I need to go over and learn the ropes, meet the people at daycare etc. etc.

Should be an interesting 4 days since the baby is at the clingy stage where mommie is concerned. But she's a doll and I love her to death.

Oh, and probably some Everquest 2 in between there somewhere.

I went through all that trouble and someone came along and rated the whole thread down.

I swear, some days it just doesn't pay to get out of bed.

That would be a great birthday present for my son. And it lays the foundation for his Christmas present... therapy sessions!
