I'm posting from school right now. We're doing a fundraiser right now for charity where for the entire day, they play an annoying song over the intercom until they make a predetermined amount of money. Today's song: The Barney "I love you" song...over and over again...my cd player is almost out of batteries. Smiley: cry

That is actually a really good idea! Does this go on all week?

Hell, for it being the Barney song, I'd donate just to keep kids from being emotionally scarred like that. Where do we donate?

That will either collect money, or promote massive school slayings.

It started last Thursday as the Hamster Dance and yesterday and today and until they make enough money, they're playing the barney song. It sounded like a good idea but people arent donating, they're just skipping school instead.

based on this thread, it would seem that the Asylum has more than both of them.

That's a dumb idea. I, like any good rebellious teenager, would have considered it a challenge to make it through the day unperturbed.

You should just ask, completely stone-faced "What music?"

Everytime you go into a new class room shout "OMG turn it up, I love this song!"... Wander around aimlessly during class, and every 10 mins shout, "OMG turn it up I love this song." Your prof will either seriously doubt your sanity and get the music turned off, or you will be sent to the office where you can repeat your schtick. If they try to give you trouble for creating a disturbance, say that the voices in the music made you do it.

That should dissuade them from continuing that type of fundraiser, and you will go down in the school's history as the kid that got them to stop playing music over and over.

What? It could work. Smiley: glare

Smiley: lol

If they're still playing it next week, I might just do it.
