On another note: I'm totally bored, and I'm just sitting here, trying to avoid cleaning the house.

Go Asylumites and show them Pirates why you don't mess around with the Lunatics here.

Well i smashed my toe earlier this week. Dropped about 20 gallons of milk on it at work. No exageration when i say 20 gallons either. Had to drive the hour or so back to my moms house after a week of letting it fester. Got pretty bad, the blood was collecting under the skin behind my cuticle in big bubbly shapes.

Anyways my mom(RN of 14 years) drilled two holes in my toenail to let it bleed out butthat didn't really work. So she sliced open those big blood pockets behind my cuticle and oh boy did that work. Blood everywhere. Toe still hurts a little, with some rpessure still on it. But i feel alot better.

That just sounds gross. And painful. Glad it is feeling better I suppose.

I might have torn my meniscus in my right knee, and I have no idea how I did it. I woke up one morning last week, and my knee locked up; I thought at first I just slept on it funny. It hurts like hell. The fix is some surgery, but I am moving in a few weeks, so I figure the earliest I can do that is February. My guess is that it just happened because I have had chronic knee problems due to an injury as a teen, and army overuse. It's all swollen and I can't bend it well. But hey, I have vicodin! I just worry about living by myself and getting to class okay post-knee surgery...blah. Life, when it rains it pours. Last time hubby deployed I had to have my gall bladder removed...

Just figured I would rant while we were talking about hurt body parts.

Wasn't to bad. Never really hurt it was just a dull throbbing. Went to my moms to get it checked out and well.. now i have two holes in my toenail, which will prolly fall off anyways.

As for the knee, why suffer till february, no way to postpone moving at all?
#34 Nov 26 2005 at 12:53 PM Rating: Excellent

Nope, can't postpone moving. It is all carefully scheduled around my husbands upcoming deployment and classes starting in my hometown where I am getting my degree.

rate me up to scholor and I'll buy premium. Haven't I helped enough around here? C'mon I mean, I told Joph democracy is dead, Potty mouth to stop talking in tongues, Nephy to get the sand out of his mangina, Katie to shut her cnut. I could go on and on but then people might start thanking me.

Tempting, but it's been too long. Don't even know who the new mean people are. Though I'm getting a vague feeling that PottyMouth is in training.

So much anger.

I tore my meniscus snowboarding one year in high school. The surgery wasn't that bad (at least it didn't seem bad, this was 12 years ago), and the recovery was very short, I was on crutches for 2-3 days and I don't remember any physical therapy.

Probably would still want to hold off on doing it until after you move, but I wouldn't dread the operation.

That made me feel better. People said the gall bladder surgery I had to have last year wouldn't be bad, and it sucked. The suck was short lived, but boy did it suck. I can't imagine living alone and doing it. I just worry about getting to class, really. But just a few days on crutches? Not bad.

We had a thread where we all started sharing all of our mental disabilities, the popular one being bipolar, and you have the gaud to ask that question? Smiley: laugh

If your procedure is the same as mine. Not sure what kind of advances have been made since I had it done, but that is what I remember. The pain from not being able to straighten my knee was far worse than anything I remember from the recovery.

Aw, how cute, nerds and failures being intimidated by slightly different types of nerds and failures on the loser hierarchy.

And now, a separate thread saying that it's ok for the FFXIers and others to play in the "we're societally excluded, so now we'll exclude other rejects to compensate" treehouse.

Like shy children, the lurkers come out of hiding, admitting their intimidation of virtual people on virtual forums, and all is right with the world.

Don't you remember that felching session you two had with Mr. cuddles the gerbil? I have it all on tape if you need to be reminded. It has a great scene of you slurping the *** from Spin's gaping **** cavity like a starving ethiopian would suckle a juice box. Short memory much?
