While the telephone survey of 1,011 U.S. adults indicates about 64% of Americans believe the Bush administration "generally misleads the American public on current issues to achieve its own ends," opinion on the topic is clearly divided along party lines. A large majority (68% to 28%) of Republicans say the Bush administration generally provides accurate information. However, even larger majorities of Democrats (91% to 7%) and Independents (73% to 25%) think the information is generally misleading.

Of the 68% of pubs and 25% of indepenents that believe Bush I'd say a third are active participants in the lies, are profitting by them or are ideologically happy with the admin saying whatever it takes. These are the people who are paying attention and fully support and understand Bush's dishonest tactics. You know, the lawful evil ones.

About a third are probably non-political and don't pay much attention to current affairs and don't vote but still relate to the GOP or Bush because of familial ties or listening to Rush or their boss etc.

The final third are likely fundie types who have bought into the neocon myth of America locked in a good vs evil fight to the death with crazed heathenistic freedom haters whose vast reach stretches even to thier very doorstep. This is the target audience that still believes the bs.

All the rest of us are onto him.

Well we thoroughly discussed a)ways in which bush misconceived the nation into a war b)the remarkably similar Ipsos-AP poll that came out last week 3)the fact that gbaji claims that it is all liberal media bias.

Or are we doomed to go over these same topics every time a new public opinion poll comes out?

So yeah, **** off.

Somebody plays too much D&D.

It's not a crime, but it probably should be.

Uh oh I incurred a rate down?!

Did I strike a nerve(tm)? Perhaps telling a repetitve, uninteresting, shit for brains **** that he is a repetitive, uninteresting, shit for brains **** got all the other ones on the defensive. Much like a bunch of ffxi players flocking together.

Bunch of gaping axe wounds.
