No arguments here on her character. She is a sexual predator. She got her rocks off by eating the forbidden fruit (news video at 11).
But she still didn't rape him and he's more of a victim of his own hormones than her blandishments. C'mon, how hard do you think she was twisting his arm before he "gave in?"

I never once said she wasn't a predator. She definitely falls into that category. But it is not rape, only statutory rape, unless she tied the boy up and somehow made him stiff enough to penetrate her without his willing consent. And somehow my brain will not accept the possibility of having a 14 yr old boy screaming out No to a hawt teacher.

If you slept with a 14 year old and SHE testified that she loved it, that'd make it ok in my book. If there's grass on the field, play ball.
Act shocked if you want, call me names if you like, but sexuality is part of the physical maturation process and you can't legislate maturity, sexual or otherwise. One of the reasons why we have courts is to decide whether a law should be applicable to a situation. In this case, the boy wasn't raped. He just wasn't no matter how badly you would like for him to have been.
Per the law he was. Rape is intercourse (or potentially other contect but let's say intercourse for ease) while the victim is unwilling to give consent or unable to give consent. The law has determined that, at 14, you are simply unable to give consent to sexual activity with an adult.
Granted you may not agree with the legal definition or think it "counts", but there it is.
