Once there was this boy who
Got into a tryst with J.C Penney's Mannequin
But when they finally made love
The security guards caught him gyrating all over her body
He couldn't quite explain it
He'd almost just came there

Teen's Mannequin Love-In

A teenager has been charged with indecent exposure after he was caught trying to have sex with a female mannequin on display at an arts centre.

Security guards found Michael Plentyhorse, 18, sprawled with the dummy on the floor with his trousers and pants down.

Police spokesman Loren McManus said: "There was inappropriate activity between him and the mannequin.

"That's the only way I know how to put it."

Guards said they had noticed several times before that the dummy's clothes had been removed at the centre in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, US.

If convicted, Plentyhorse may be registered as a sex offender.

Hope Matchan, of the prosecutors' department, said: "People might say it's relatively harmless.

"But I certainly would want to know if this person was my neighbour."

I'm only going to justify this, if the 'Mannequin' looked like *NWS* Kim Cattrall.

I was going to try to make another "Mannequin" joke, but I couldn't think of one. Just for the hell of it then, Kim Cattrall as a Vulcan.

Could someone please explain to me how performing sexual acts with inanimate objects qualifies as being a sex offender? There's an entire fucking industry that make this exact act possible, including making dolls for that purpose. The FBI going to start tracking where those are shipped and convict them too?

It doesn't, you can breathe easily. I think you will find the public exposure bit is the clincher.

Maybe I'm just not understanding the proper definition of sex offender. Don't you usually have to sexually offend someone first? Granted, I'm sure there's some law that he's broken, but to cause a guy that kind of misery for the rest of his life over something so trivial is a bit much. Being convicted as a sex offender isn't something that you will ever live down in the US. In my mind, sex offender = Rapist, Skeeterphile, Catholic Priest. Not some wierd kid who either made a really bad judgment call or has some odd fetish. If it's for public exposure, then just take a look at any Girls Gone Wild video.

You may be right. But it's the only thing I can think of. Another article I found while looking to see where this event occured had no mention of a sex offender label being slapped on him.

A Sioux Falls man is charged with indecent exposure after being found partially unclothed and lying on the floor with a female mannequin in the Washington Pavilion.

Michael James Plentyhorse, 18, 708 N. Dakota Ave., was discovered by a Pavilion security officer at 4:35 p.m. Monday in the Washington High School Alumni Room, police said.

The guard observed Plentyhorse with his pants and underclothing down and lying next to the half-naked female mannequin, a police report states.

“There was inappropriate activity between him and the mannequin. That’s the only way I know how to put it,” Sioux Falls police officer Loren McManus said.

Security staff at the Pavilion say they have noticed the same mannequin has previously been found undressed on several occasions, McManus said.

No drugs or alcohol appear to have been involved.

They even gave his address in case you want to chip in and send the guy a RealDoll Smiley: wink2

It serves for the story. I doubt the judge would be impressed if you tried to argue philosophy and it has nothing to do with the actual exposure charges. Had he been sitting naked on a bare floor, the charges would be the same, the story just wouldn't elict as many giggles.

What I find amusing is that he developed a bond to that one particular mannequin.

From what I understand taking a **** on the side of the road is considered indecent exposure, and is therefore a sexual offence. Would one prosecuted to the fullest extent then have to walk door to door informing people of his presence?

He's right. Most people think of rape, sodomy, oral copulation and lewd acts with a child, but it varies state to state.
