Democrats save us!!Follow

Ugh, I sware Democrats are the people who save this country. Everytime a republican is in office, he lowers the taxes, and ups our deficit by the billions everytime they lower taxes. then a democrat comes in, who is not scared to tax the rich who don't even need that much money, and attempts to lower the deficit, and the whole process is repeated. I sware, WHY won't republics tax the damn rich, stop giving damn tax breaks to huge oil company's and the ******* ultrawealthy.

Oh yea, and you guys heard about that new bill that passed in the Senate (er... it slipped my mind what the bill entitled) but Bush was trying to veto it because it taxed the oil company's more. Damn you bush and your GREEDY SELF-CENTERED self trying to save money for your ******* oil company.

Oh yea, and also any of you guys watched that dateline thing where they interviewed Bill Clinton? Well, Bush gave a large sum of money to the New Orleans Disaster Relief Effort... and they interviewed Bill Clinton, and he talked about how Bush should've just taxed the rich, and Bill Clinton himself (who is quite rich) stated that a small bit more tax really would'nt hurt the rich's pocket at all, and that instead of taxing the rich to help them, he put more into our deficit.

Our children and our children's children are going to have to pay for all this money that just keeps on going. Our country's going to fall soon...

TAXING INS'T A BAD THING!!! Tax damnit, it's what our country's about.

Yea I dunno, I was just ranting... but anyway...

im not one of the moral majority, yet i read the Bible.

we are our brothers keeper.

and that line about it being easier to thread a camel through the eye of a needle than for a wealthy man to enter heaven? think it has anything to do with the previous statement? think God would find it audatious for any man to have excess while his brother goes hungry and is without shelter?

think the bit about when Jesus returns he will destroy all sovernty, all powers, all other rule might be because he thinks they did a crappy job at being steward to the bounties of this world while their brothers and sisters go hungry, are cold, and have no shelter?

christian right is on the same lines as military intellegance. blasphomy.

Jesus Christ was the first liberal to walk this planet. the ultimate liberal.

Isn't even forcing a person to pay taxes unconstitutional?

No, but you wouldn't be the first laughed out of court for making that argument.

Nope. Originally in the constitution, taxes were collected from the states directly apportioned to population. Then the 16th amendment came along, which states that congress has the power to tax incomes without apportionment among the several states, and without regard to the census.

I'm not democrat or republican but that isn't very far from the truth, both Presidents during WWII were democrats. And they were vicious fuckers at that. However, if I recall correctly, a Republican pulled us out of The Great Depression.

Point is: Blanket statements about republicans and democrats don't hold water.
