These are by no means my favorites but, meh here goes:

Listening to a lot from The Band (Up on Cripple Creek is a great song)

Two great Floyd albums to listen through all the way:
Wish You Were Here
Dark Side of the Moon

If you like any Hip-Hop whatsoever (and not the fuck the police, ******* and bling variety) try some:

Sage Francis

Atmosphere (almost too emo for my tastes, but he is still a talented MC)

Qwel....Typical Cats (Qwel is in Typical Cats)

Brother Ali

I also like a lot of Led Zeppelin, Nine Inch Nails, Johnny Cash, Tenacious D, Misfits (Danzig stuff), AFI, MF Doom, Beck, Dead Kennedy's and of course, Wu-Tang

You sure seem to be a Beatles fan. You are missing some Rolling Stones and Simon and Garfunkle in there. I just blew through the list, did I only see one Rolling Stones track? Get Wild Horses, Honky Tonk Woman, Brown Sugar, Paint it Black, Suzie Q, and Time is on My Side for starters.

Paskil is right about the Band, Up on Cripple Creek is a good song, so is The Weight.

For a "classic rock" list, you are missing some Jimi Hendrix and the Kinks.

Edit: Missing Bob Dylan too.

Mmm lets see

I think you may like Mad Season. They only had one Album, Above, before their lead singer died, and every song is pretty great.

And then maybe Rammstein. My favorite song being Ohne Dich

A lot of things previously said. Stone Temple Pilots is a big favorite of mine. I guess my favorite song of theirs would be Where the River Goes.

Also, if your looking for new music I really suggest RadioBlogClub.com You type in a song you want and a page will come up. Click on any of the links and you'll get your song, but also all the other music that person has on their list. I have found a lot of new music that way.

Also alot of Jazz
On another forum, some folks were lamenting that Holly Cole's later stuff was more pop than her original jazz roots. The feeling was that she gave up being perhaps one of the biggest fish in the pond of today's female jazz singers to be a tiny fish in the overpopulated pop lake.

That said, you may want to look at her earlier albums with the Holly Cole Trio: Girl Talk ("Girl Talk, "My Baby Just Cares For Me"), Don't Smoke In Bed ("So and So", "Blame It On My Youth") and Temptation ("Tango 'Til They're Sore", "Little Boy Blue").

There's a feel to each album so you might want to pick one from each before you decide you hate. Alternately, you may just hate it Smiley: grin

I mainly listen to Metal in all aspects so here are some suggestions.

For the side that wants some vocals, here are a few:

Dream Theater - A Change of Seasons (Progressive Metal)
Children of Bodom - Towards Dead End (Extreme Metal)
Dimmu Borgir - Allehelgens Dod I Hellveds Rike (Black Metal)
Opeth - Bleak (Death Metal with a side of Progression)
Emperor - Grey (Black Metal)
Soilwork - If Possible (Guess you could consider these guys Hardcore Metal now....)
Symphony X - The Odyssey (Progressive metal with a hint of symphonics)
Death - Trapped in a Corner (Death metal with technicalities)
Nevermore - The Psalm of Lydia (Extreme Metal with normal vocals)
Lacuna Coil - Swamped (Ummm...Metal)
Nightwish - Slaying the Dreamer (Operatic Metal)
Soilwork - Asylum Dance (Melodic Metal)
Stratovarius - Destiny (Progressive Metal)

For the instrumental side:

Dream Theater - Overture 1928
Racer X - Technical Difficulties
Shadows Fall - Lead Me Home
Slaughter - Prelude
Dream Theater - Stream of Consciousness
Liquid Tension Experiment - Acid Rain
Liquid Tension Experiment - When the Water Breaks
Dimmu Borgir - Perfection or Vanity
Joe Satriani - Crystal Planet
Death - Voice of the Soul
Nightwish - Moondance
In Flames - The Jester's Dance
In Flames - Man Made God

That should be good for now.

Wow...your list is like looking at my stuff in the mirror. Very weird, I thought no one had similar tastes to mine.

Anyways, here's some stuff I like that you might like:
Widespread Panic: try the Space Wrangler album
Rusted Root: On My Way album
Phillip Glass isn't everyone's cup o' tea, but you might like it.
Guster's old stuff
String Cheese Incident
Dispatch

Those might hit the spot for you I think.

Here are a few gaming soundtracks that I enjoy:

Icewind Dale Soundtrack - Jeremy Soule (anything by Jeremy Soule is terrific).

Morrowind - Jeremy Soule - Not sure if a soundtrack is available, but the theme song is amazing.

Icewind Dale II Soundtrack - Inon Zur - I need to get this soundtrack. I love the music from this game.

Arcanum - Ben Houge - You can download all the songs for free from the link provided. "Villages" is my favorite tune. Although not so hot graphically, this was a great game.

WoW Soundtrack - Jason Hayes - Great music for a great game.

I also wish to know what you've added.

Whoever mentioned the Red Hot Chili Peppers is right; they are a good band. I heartily recommend their Blood Sugar Sex Magik and Californication albums.

Aye, I love Californication and I don't especially like RHCP.

What I've been listening to repeatedly is Vivaldi's Four Seasons suite and Sasha's Airdrawn Dagger album. And anything with Les Claypool - Primus, Holy Mackerel, Sausage, etc.
