I rented Stealth the other day. It took me three days to finish watching it. That movie was the assiest piece of *** to ever ***. Having it on made my cat sad and the leaves fall off my houseplants.

I have nothing to add about Harry Potter though.

I never would've guessed about Stealth...it looked like a blockbuster!

Smiley: rolleyes

I really enjoyed book 4, but it was quite long, it will be interesting to see how the movie adaption is.

I'm excited for it, I really enjoyed the movie version of Prisoner of Azkaban.

I think if I were going to see one this weekend, it would be Walk the Line. But I generally avoid going to the theatre on weekends, too many people. It's much better to go on a Tuesday or Wednesday, no lines and you can get a decent seat without having some fat ******* plop down right next to ya elbowing you in the ribs.

There's a nice theater by us that is smack dab in the middle of nowhere...plays the latest movies, has digital picutre and sound..but is always EMPTY!

Everyone around here heads to Grand Rapids to go the movies..we just head to the little theater and usually can get a pretty decent seat.

This weekend will be crazy I'm sure though...bunch of little kids dressed up as Harry Potter i guess

Hell, I wasn't expecting Citizen Kane out of it but I thought it'd at least be mindless popcorn style entertainment.

The only way it could have been less entertaining would have been if the robot airplane sat and played Tetris for two hours. Actually, that may have been an improvement.

The only movies I'll be seeing this weekend is whatever is on HBO. Which will probably be nothing. Although, they do have the first 4 episodes of Oz on On Demand now.

<3 prison ***** shows

I rented a DVD that really mislead me with the preview last week.

Darkwater: The preview made it look somewhat decent for a B rate horror movie. There was nothing else in at the time so I decided it was worth a try.

Please do not rent this movie unless you like voiced over movies with a horrible plot and shitty actors. It was not even scary in the least. The only thing that kept my wife and I watching it was we were waiting for the custody of the child to be given to the father because the mother was such a dumb cnut.

The only good part of the the movie was the hot sexy lesbian lovemaking scene!

Ok there was no hot sexy lesbian lovemaking scene, I just want a reason to have wasted 90 minutes watching that crap

I think we are going to go see "Walk the Line" Looks really good.

We usually go to Grapevine Mills Theatre has 30 screens. Stadium style seating, Fat Bast*ard resistant. We usually do a afternoon movie since the prices are about half the price of the evening shows.

Once in a while we'll do a double feature.

Walk the Line looks good too. Joaquin Pheonix really researched the part from what I've been reading. We'll probably see that next weekend.

I want to go see Goblet of Fire, but the opening weekend is insane, and we wont have a weekend free until mid Dec, so I'll have to wait.

I may go see "Walk the Line" if it's playing somewhere convenient. I'd like to see it on the big screen.

I have some time off coming up, so I may wait and grab a matinee later is the lines are too intimidating.

never really been a Cash fan, but he led a very interesting life, so i'm definately interested in Walk the Line...

Plus i'm up for the first movie date i've had in like 5 years, and i think maybe that's a more suitable suggestion than Harry Potter (though i DO wanna see that too, Goblet of Fire was by far the best book so far. (so far being 1-4.. haven't read the other two yet))

^^ yeesh, nested parenthesis

Just got back from seeing "Walk the Line".

I've never been a big country fan, nor a Cash fan. By the time I became aware of him, he seemed like an over the hill, washed up cliche of what country music is all about.

Just shows how misleading a little information can be.

The movie was outstanding. Reese Witherspoon, who to this point in her career has impressed me about as much as dry, cold toast, was really very good as June, and you might as well give Joaquin Phoenix his Oscar now. He was just superb. Even did his own singing, (as did Witherspoon). I'm glad this didn't come out in the same year as "Ray", because that would have pitted Phoenix against Foxx for best actor, and it would have been a shame to see either lose.

I'll buy this one the day it comes out on DVD.

I'd love to go see "Brokeback Mountain", but I may have to go alone. Apparently, there is fear among the male populace that seeing this movie just might make you gay. No more so than Harry Potter, IMHO.

"Might"?

That movie was put forth by the gay agenda to gay-ify innocent men who may see it. Or the box. Or read about it on a web forum.

Damn. Now I caught the gay.
