Democrats call for surrenderFollow

#1 Nov 18 2005 at 12:28 PM Rating: Default
Whether you agree with the war in Iraq or not to pull out now would be a complete success for the same type of islamo fascists that bombed us 911. Do the Democrats hate America and freedom that much? Or are they so obsessed with regaining control of the government that they would gladly surrender to an enemy that will continue to threaten all of western civilization?

Either way it's disgusting to watch them say they support the troops out of one side of their mouth while calling for their surrender out the other.

Yes. We're all waiting for the Almohads to invade with their urban milita.

Go on now and say how my answer proves I'm afraid to talk about it or whatever.

Oh shut up. First off, just because one house represenative comes out and calls for troop withdrawal, all democrats are now calling for it? Second off, calling it "surrender" is crap and you know it.

What in the hell does this have to do with supporting the troops? -If- there was a withdawal, most would probably shrug and say "good, I get to go home."

Or maybe we just realize that the country we live in has BECOME that enemy you speak of. I don't hate America, and i certainly don't hate freedom, but i don't see how what we're doing over there has anything to do with freedom at all, and i want to see it over as soon as possible.

Don't get me wrong... As much as i'd like to see the war over, I see no way to pull out immediately, and no string of logic that would support such a move. That doesn't mean i don't wish that such an option was available.

Maybe we'll get lucky and the new government over there will demand that we leave.

I have an idea why don't we pull out of Afghanistan and Iraq and completely open our borders to the african muslims so they can burn every major city in the U.S. like they're doing in France.
Your ideas intrigue me and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter.

And I don't know how many military personnel do you know?

Hmm..let me think about that one a minute.

I am an army veteran, my husband just came back from Iraq and is about to go to Afganistan. All of our friends up here are either wives whose husbands have been there, or soldiers who were there with my husband. Does that count?

And if you read what Rep. Murtha said, he said that what needs to happen is that the muslims themselves need to take care of the problem, not us. I wouldn't exactly call that surrender. It is more saying "we can't fix this the way we are currently doing it, so let s do something else."

And yeah, heh, saying "oh shut up" was fairly retarded on my part. I just had a nerve poked, it was silly.

It irks me when liberals are accused of "not supporting the troops" is all. Oh gawd, when the conservatives were accusing liberals of "celebrating 2000 troops killed?" I just wanted to scream.

This is someone who believes one can argue against troop withdrawl from Iraq by citing civil unrest in France under the blanket "those evil Muslims".

I'll certainly admit to arguing with him since it's entertaining sometimes, but I wouldn't take anything he says seriously.

You are aware it's the muslims that are burning France right?
I'm aware that they are Muslim people. I'm also aware that connecting them and their situation to Iraq is like connecting the actions of Brazil to those of Poland on the basis of both being predominately Catholic.
