Just a public service announcement: when you bring your own Doritos from home in a baggie, never leave them in the plastic bag with a banana all day.

These are the weirdest things I've ever eaten.

I have a major headache. My head is actually sore to the touch. I cannot be held responsible for any of my actions today.

Why not?

As long as they're not all soggy and smooshy. Food flavors don't bother me so much, but some textures gross me out.

It's 10 til 4. I've lasted this long, might as well finish the day.

Besides, the thought of going home to lay down, then having to get back out to get my son later just didn't sound fun. I'm one of those people that, once I get home, I hate getting back out.

You do know that nature prewraps her bananas for you right? So you don't really need the plastic bag Smiley: wink

On a food-tangent here...

You know how you sometimes get a craving for something, only you don't know what it is you want to eat?

I've been on that boat ride all week. I finally figured it out yesterday and just now treated the problem. I just finished 2 huge slabs of liver. Took em and salted and peppered them pretty well, and sauteed them in butter and it sure did hit the spot.

Normally I'm not much on eating internal organs but liver and onions is my one weak spot. The first time I smelled it cooking I actually asked for some and if I don't eat it every couple of months I start to get the cravings. I took the pack out of the freezer and put it in the fridge last night and I was thinking about it all morning at work. Mmmmmm.

Cravings are sometimes an indication of a lack of something in one's diet. Are you getting enough iron? And stop drinking so much coffee, it's bad for your teeth.

I had a hard on for mushrooms the other day. I ate almost a whole can of pieces and stems.

Coffee? Not I. I dismounted the coffee caravan back in April or May sometime. Haven't had a cup since. I don't miss it a bit.

I am addicted to aspartame, though. Hardcore like.

I'm pretty sure I'm getting all my vitamins, actually. My diet has been pretty good the past couple of months, vitamin-wise. Getting a lot more greenery, fruit and veggies than I had been the past couple of years. I actually took time to asses my food intake over the summer and realized that I wasn't eating enough of the right things and took steps to improve my food selection. It made me feel a lot better, on top of making one of my lingering problems go away. I was fighting to keep from gaining weight and it's no longer an issue. I'm hovering within the same 5lb range all the time now without any effort. I could actually drop about 10 lbs and benefit, but that'd take an actual program of exercise, as opposed to posting on message boards.

Yeah, but I bet your pinkies are hard as fucking rocks! Also, one should never understimate the power of highly toned hand-eye coordination.
