No. The perjury and "giving false testimony" charges are for lying. The obstruction of justice charge is <drumroll> for "obstructing justice". It's predicated on the assumption that the contradiction in his testimony resulted from a willfull desire to obstruct the investigation. The investigation was attempting to discover who outted Plame.

your completly off base with this one gbaji.

lieing to an investigator is obstructing justice. the dems know going after them for plame is a waste of time. before the charges hit the courtroom a law would be passed stating releasing the name of someone not currently undercover would be "o tay" and not a crime. the same reason they did not go after Clinton for adultry.

spinn what you like, God knows the rest of the repubs are.

Libby is going to court for lieing. woodward does nothing to change that. all it does is give his defense team a little ammunition to challenge woodwards credability in teh courtroom, and in the public forum to throw up a smoke screen.

nothing can change Libbys stetments. nothing but a time machine can make them true. woodward could end up being a commie spy adn libby would still be going to court for lieing.

would love to see how you could spinn releasing confidential information as obstruction of justice. that is more on the line of TREASON, not obstruction.
