Is there nothing better than the first cigarette of the morning? You roll out of bed, check your fleet, browse the forums for about half and hour, then throw on a shirt and step outside and light up. It calms the soul, and damn it feels good!

My only class was cancelled today, so I woke up about 45 minutes ago. Take that, you 9 to 5 fuckers!

Sheee-it, they should put me on the payroll. I'm selling more smokes than Camel Joe and the Marlboro Man put together!

Hey man, it just happened, ok? I must have nodded off without fixing up my tags first. Chill out.

Fuck that, it's cold outside.

Back when I smoked, it was either in comfort or forget it. I wasn't going to stand out in fifteen degree weather just to take a drag.

When I smoked I think I always enjoyed the last smoke of the day more. I wasn't worried about the day of work ahead, the drive, etc. I was just looking forward to a good night's rest.

The best smoke to me, was always the smoke right after a big dinner. I never smoked much in the morning...

There were a few flurries yesterday, but it's bright and sunny (and cold) today. Snow won't be far off though.

Best time to have a cig is definitely before bed. The day is done, you have only your warm sheets to look forward to. I sit down and let my mind wander to the events of the day.

Second best is after a big meal.

You live near Chicago right? Is the winter there as bad as they say it is? Surprisingly I don't think I've seen a single flake here in Southern New England and it's been rather pleasant outside the last few weeks.

The cig before bed, or post large meal, is a really good cig. However, you're both wrong in that the best cig is post beer.

Smoking after beer, while very nice, does not even come close to that wonderful cigarette after a nice big dinner. Slow, even drags, so as not to burp up partially digested food...mmmm....Makes me wish I hadn't quit.

Last smoke of they day wasn't as big of a deal to me. I hated smoking right before bed...couldn't stand the smell of smoke as I was trying to sleep.

Colder than an eskimo's *****. It's not that it snows a lot, but it gets absolutely frigid, and the wind only adds to it. We're talking 20 degrees below zero with windchill some days.

When it does snow, all the roads turn to mush, and they break out the road salt. That stuff gets into your treads, and eventually rusts out your fenders if you don't clean them off every so often. It's pretty brutal, but probably not as bad as winter in Minnesota.

I like that first smoke in the morning as well. Smoking gives me migraines (one of the thousands of reasons I should quit again), so by the end of the day smoking just makes my head hurt.

My husband gets up first and makes the coffee. I roll out of bed and go into the livingroom, plop onto the couch in front of the morning news and my laptop. I drink my coffee, have a smoke, watch the news, and read Alla and various blogs while repeating stories of interest to my husband while he gets ready for work.

When my husband isn't around I have alot of trouble getting up in the morning. He makes it more fun.

I'm not a morning smoker, either. The later it gets, the more I puff.

Best smoke for me is the one right after work on Fridays. So is the best breath, best drive home, best meal.

Well everything just seems the best to me right after work on Fridays...

That was always my favorite time when I smoked. When I was out drinking. I could easily smoke a couple of packs in one night when normally I was a half a pack a day smoker.

Now, that I don't smoke. The smell disgusts me. bleh

When I get tanked, I *STILL* want a cigarette. That's how I got started in the first place. I haven't faltered yet, though.
