yes, the thread was to get your attention *grins* Sony is still looking to make some form of technology impossible to run on anything but the first system you play it in.
is this really the kind of software we want? if i buy a movie, cd, game, etc. and play it at home, does that mean i can no take it with me in my car, or to work, or if i replace my player does that mean all of my old media no longer will work?

all that did was denigh it being used on the PS3, did not say that other media would not be using that technology as per their patten application.
