Northwest Passage found.
Well, now that we will be able to sail north of Canada, maybe the Brittish will put some spice in their food.

Seriously, this article worried me at first, but then Mallard Filmore and Fox News reassured me that global warming was make beleive.

People were wondering why Canada and Denmark were fighting over a small island up north that was probably as large as a football field. The answer, the NWP, Canada and Denmark (via Greenland) see revenue in controlling it in their territorial waters.

Not that it matters because either way the US said that it would consider the North West Passage international waters regardless of law. Oh and Global Warming is fake.

No if the US was gonna invade it would be for Albertas oil fields.

Not that they would invade. They could just support Alberta and help foster the sense of alienation it feels from the rest of Canada. Entice it into joining the United States (a cowboy, hick, conservative province like that might go). Once Alberta goes the rest of Canada crumbles, then they can take in the alantic provinces for their new found offshore, manitoba and ontario for the hydro electricty then let Quebec do their own thing.

The United States energy problems for the next 50 years will be solved along with legit claim to the NWP (thanks to incorporating canada into the Union).

Point Match Game, America. Hurray for fiction.

We will tear down your dams and build chemical plants. We don't want no stinkin renewable energy. If we relied on crap like that, we would never be able to sail your north coast.
