It's funny, when I was a kid I loved all that stuff. The more sugar, the better. Now that I'm older, I find myself usually buying all the stuff that my folks bought and I complained about. Chex, Raisin Bran, Cheerios, etc.
But every now and then I'll spring for a box of Lucky Charms. Hey, they're Magically Delicious!

Sugar Corn Pops and Froot Loops.
Only ones I can still stand to eat anymore. Straight from the box, no milk. All the others are too sweet. It's like you can feel your teeth rotting more and more with each spoonful.
Saw an article a while back that said the cereals we grew up with have 1/4-1/3 more sugar in them than they used to have. I believe it. Just tossed out half a box of Booberry I bought last year out of nostalgia, cause it was too damned sweet. First thing I ever stole. Age 4.
