Soundblaster X-FIFollow

Any of you out there that listen to a large quantity of MP3's and have at least 5.1 surround sound speakers attached to your computers, do consider this card. The surround upmixing on it is flawless, and it is much more stable than the audigy II. The 64 mb xram on the fatal1ty edition is still a bit of a gimick, but after having this thing in my gaming rig for a few hours, i'm definitly sold on it.

Depends on the model you go with. there's teh low end card only, no front input panel for around $150, or theres the rront panel versions for $200. The fatal1ty edition, which i got, ran close $260, but almost nothing supports the xram yet, so at this point it's debatable if it is worthwhile. There is a $300 extarnal front input panel version, the advantage to that being that it dosn't take up a drive bay slot.
