SACRAMENTO COUNTY - Sheriff's investigators are looking for a man wanted in connection with an August homicide in Vintage Park.
Detectives believe the suspect, Sirtice Melonson, 20, was attempting to take the victim's car, he said.
Navnil Chand, 27, was shot multiple times in the upper torso in a car at Caymus Park on Vintage Park Drive about 11:10 p.m. Aug. 5, said Sgt. R.L. Davis, spokesman for the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department.
Chand died at the scene, and a man who was with him was shot in the hand, Davis said.
