What do you use, and where can I download it?

I just got a new computer recently, and I'd like to get some extra anti spyware / adware programs for extra protection and whatnot.

I've heard you can download programs basically just as good as programs you can buy to help protect your computer.

So for those of you who use programs like that, what do you use, and how well does it work, and where can I download it?

Thanks a lot for all responses and opinions in advance!! :)

You should also get spybot Search & Destroy. It's very useful

I've decided that if I help this guy, he'll leave sooner and never post here again. Maybe it'll work....but if history serves as an example, it won't.

damn, I should have linked them to logout... o well, fu[/b]ck it anyway. I'm so bored and restless... I don't feel like playing any games, all friends are out with women or working... AIM people are not amusing me, you people aren't posting, my fingers are too blistered to continue my re-institution of guitar into my life, i've been listing to the same Beatles song for an hour, I'm actually taking bong-hits out of boredom rather than amusment...

Well... thanks for the posts guys. lol Looks like those of you who posted links posted some pretty reliable stuff, so thanks.

And by the way... I'm not 80, haha. I'm actually 16, I guess I just seem 80 because I naturally type properly and actually want to keep my new computer virus free... but whatever. :)

Anyway, thanks for all the links!

I'm guessing a rival Spyware company, or some other breed of flunky.

You guys are right... I'm not very computer literate at all, I should completely give up everything else in my life, so I can play my computer all day, and learn everything there is to know about computers, and become more like this guy.

Yes... I definitely want to be able to say all that about myself one day... It's my new long term goal. >.>

Oh, and I posted in two forums, because I didn't know I had people who had no lives monitoring the forums, looking to answer, but downgrade and make fun of people who asked questions, and I thought maybe it would take longer than 20 seconds to get a response.

Anyway, done talking with you people now, thanks for the links and such... but yea, you should probably work on getting actual lives, and work on your people skills a little bit... Honestly. :)

Boy's Life here and some comic books at my barbershop.

I used to lust after the 101 Piece Army Set as a youth. Never did get it though.
