Tom Delay is in trouble, not over the deal with the Texas prosecutor that forced him to step down but rather with his dealings with lobbiest Jack Abramoff (funny name i know). Turns out he will more than likely be raked over the coals for it.
What I am looking for is a story linking to the email of Abramoff and other aides in the Delay office that state something along the lines of:
"big business republicans reaching out to ignorant hick conservative christian right types on some basic issues because they can then push through complex legislation with chrisitian group help knowing that the christian groups wont be able to understand it and just back them up because"
I read the news article on it and now cant find my way back to a link.

Those articles were good but they didnt entail the contempt for the christian right. Though they did have the good pieces on how Abramoff viewed Native Americans on behalf of who he was lobbying for as "troglodytes".
It's interesting how connected he was not only with Delay but also meetings with Ashcroft, Cheney Aides, and other high ranking republicans and over 200 contracts being awarded to him and his firm by the whitehouse and republicans.
