So yesterday I tried wearing my contact lenses. I have a new presecription but am too lazy to actually wear them regularly. This pair I now remembewr was a trial set that i've had for a few months. So i wear them for a day, and my right eye starts to hurt. Get home, take them off, and my right eye is still messed up. Went to work today in my glasses and the pain was horrible.

So this evening I get some conjunctivitis drops on the way home. My right eye is now a uniform red, and hurts even when I'm looking only through my left eye. So I take a cloth robe belt and tie it around my head, covering both eyes. I walk out of the bathroom, proclaiming to my girlfriend "I am Zatoichi, the blind samurai!" and proceed to step on a kitten and walk into her chair.

Was worcestershire sauce involved in any way as an embalming fluid?

It's very likely you have bacterial conjunctivitis and will require antibiotics. Don't wait around to get them, either. You only get two eyes in this life. F[][/]uck 'em up and you'll have less time for ************ as you use ol' Righty to learn to sign.

Conjunctivitis is almost always viral and almost always goes away without meds. But, in this case with the contacts snafu it is almost certainly bacterial, likely pseudomonas, and needs antibiotics.

Now that I spent a little more time looking at the screen, I'm inclined to beileve it was DSD's kitten I stepped on. Poor lil' bugger.

Debalic, dude, contact lenses have nothing to do with your eyes being red. It's all that weed you're blazin' that's making you look like you're fresh off the set of Night of the Living Dead. Stop lying to yourself, man, and just learn to like being you.

As it turns out, it wasn't even pinkeye, but Iritis, or just an inflammation of the iris. Which means I now get to drop steroids and dilate my right eye all day. Fun!

The upside is that I can toke up then wear shades all day.
