My son and I were discussing his need to use the restroom but he was in Warsong Gulch in Wow and was the body guard for the flag carrier and stated he couldn't let him die.

So this spurred my smart remark, why not just go in that Mountain Dew bottle. I followed by a snicker and a thought: how many people actually get up to go when in a raid or the like.

Do you get up to go or not?
Yes, I can't hold it:28 (46.7%)
No, I can wait:27 (45.0%)
IF there is a container close enough, I don't have to get up and I can still go - I can multitask:5 (8.3%)
Total:60

In eq(i dont play WoW....yet) groups or in a raid Id always get up to use the washroom because hey, its just a game, no need to torture myself for a game.

I'll try and wait until we're at a safe spot before I go but I just make sure I auto follow someone who is not rushing off to fight, no matter what game it is. Besides, peeing in a bottle? No way

I used to know a couple clerics who were part of the CH rotation on PoA Xegony raids that instead of playing on their desktop, they would get on their laptops and play from the bathroom.

So would a woman use a pan or dish of some sort?

Surprised no companies have marketed a catheter for mmorpg players ::snicker::

this reminds me of my late grandpa. Every couple years he would drive from eithe FL or MI, depending on the time of year, to Mass and he made a game for himself to see if he could beat his timing each year. He finally got so obssesed, he refused to stop at rest stops. He bought himself one of those pee bottles and would use that. He even insisted my poor well mannered grandmother use it. It was the most disgusting thing I could think of when I was a kid, knowing they both peed in a bottle just so he could beat his time

That is gross DSD. Damn that has got to be messey for your Grandma. That your Grandpa or Grandma even told you about it is even worse.

Why is the option "Yes, I can't hold it"?

I can hold it fine, so my answer is "Yes, I go to the bathroom because I choose to be a normal, sanitary person, not because I can't possibly hold it any longer."

If I have to go, I will tell them that I will brb... they usually get themselves killed then... but hey, at least it wasn't my fault.

I know a guy that brings a pickle jar out with him for that purpose when he sits in his tree stand. I always thought that was sick but at least I understood why.

The thought of that happening because someone doesn’t want to leave the computer paints a pretty disgusting picture of what this persons house might look like though...not to mention the smell.

I picture an unshaven man over 350lbs lifting his belly to find his pee tool (which he hasn’t seen in years) cramming the mountain due bottle in there hoping he don’t pee all over his keyboard.

That and a caffiene IV and I'd be good to go!

Seriously though, I think peeing in a bottle is taking the game a tad too far, haha.

When I was still playing, I played a cleric. If we were actually engaged in something, no way would I leave the computer. But if we were waiting on a spawn, a pull or moving to a new spot, I'd go. I'd tell someone, though.
