Hate to spam, but I need a 'few good rate downs.' And no this is not some pathetic reverse psychology attempt.

Grant me this and I'll try to mildly entertain you while provoking you as well.

______

So what's up with the asylum? A few quick glances I've had around and it's a pretty sorry bunch. PToo many of the regulars seem overly concerned with ratings. There's threads with links to people engaging in certain activities with horses. Many of you seem to take pride in the activities you carry out as a coping tool it seems. The petty squabbles, the attitudes, the egos, por que?

Addendum: Why do so many regulars spend so much time at these boards? I'm not going to ignorantly say 'get a life,' but the amount of effort spent here seems a bit disprotortional no?

Adequate retort, but then again there are a plethora of activities to do at work besides work, why specifically a forum?

Why not? It amuses me and it's not as suspicious looking as Windows Pinball.

Only 1am here and a cursory examination would show the bulk of my posts are during working hours.

Why does one watch TV? Why does one do a puzzle? Why do people read books, play games, pull pranks?

This forum is just another medium in which a person can entertain themselves, or perhaps fulfill some other need. It's something you fall into, something that may just happen. Asking 'why' is irrelevant; what should be asked is "How can I shag Jennifer Aniston when my actual chances of meeting her out of the blue are literally nil?"

Inquiring minds must know thine answer.

Derpends on how long you want to be in jail

To tap 'Rachel' from Friends? To put it in her mouth?

Hrmm...

Just curious as to why you want a rate down? Or is this some sorry attempt at acceptance. I suspect it's the latter.

In tangential news, I finally broke down and set my preferences to filter out the sub-default crap.

I hate to think I'm missing anything, but after I really thought about it, I'm missing out all sorts of other maladies like venereal diseases, cancer, HIV, marriage, tuberculosis, hemorrhoids, and anything to do with having dark skin. Those aren't killing me to know I don't have them, so I think I can endure this, too.

Yay me.

Allegory, what the hell is with your sig? "Final one: I need." Does that make you feel cool?

Looks like a row of squares to me. Which is actually cooler than "Final 1: I need"

How about some of that entertainment you promised?

How do you say, "I suck balls" in Japanese?

On another note, "Fuck you and the fuck truck you fucked in on", translated to Japanese and then translated back becomes "The track/truck of the sexual intercourse where you have sexual intercourse and you have sexual intercourse". Smiley: dubious
