I saw Chand went to check it out this weekend in another thread.

Was Saw I good?

It was filmed and done the exact friggen way as the first, but as far as movies like that go, it was great!

Many didn't like Saw I, but I always thought the twists and stuff were pretty fun. You can say that this movie brings the 'story' full circle.

It was totally worth the money I could have paid for it. (Friends with connections at your opponents theater is awesome)

Saw 2 is a fun movie, not as good as #1 in terms of focus though. My fiance and I felt that there was just to many people involved whereas in 1 it was focused on Dr Gordon and Adam. But the ending to SAW 2 is definately something you either will catch onto right away OR it will slap you in the face type surprise.

Overall good movie.

If you enjoy ****** acting, half-rate directing, and sub-par plot lines.

Of course that doesnt rule out the possibility of me renting the sequal in a month.

I was really disappointed with it. Did not have the same ingenuity as the last. On it's own, it's an ok film. A sequel, not so good. Sad though that it was the same writer. Seems like the movie studio rushed a script to capatalize on the success of the first Saw.

You just successfully exposed Hollywood's mentality in all it's glory for about 90% of the movies it pumps out..

Predictable outcome, flashy effects, bad acting.
What more could you ask for^^
