Half my clocks do it on their own, including my alarm clock. So I woke up and just adjusted the others manually.

Faylight savings always gets me confused for a few days

What, do the DLST Police come arrest you if you don't do it the night before? I always wait till Sunday.

My clocks all do it by themselves, except for the one that really counts: the alarm clock.

Walking thirty feet, slapping the clock against the wall until it stops making noise, then going to bed for another hour of sleep:

priceless.

That extra hour of sleep really helped me recover from the Holloween party last night before work this morning.

Woo friggin' hoo!!!

you know, you can't really get an hour of extra sleep. it only changes the time, it doesn't change the number of hours in a day, it's still 24, not 25 ******

OK If you normally go to bed at 11PM and get up at 6AM, thats seven hours. If your clock sets itself back at 2AM while you are sleeping (or when you get up at 6AM you set it back to 5AM)its like you slept until 7AM so yes you do really get an extra hour of sleep. 7 hours +1 hour for setting clock back=8 hours.

******.

The rollback confused us last night. We were out at a riend's till like 1am. Stopped at a store on the way home. After being home for awhile I saw the clock said 1:20 and wondered if it was really 12:20. It took us awhile to realize that the Optimum cable box automatically reset the clock, but the TV listings were in the twilight zone.
