Congrats, now you need to break in the back seat. Smiley: lol

My first car was a 1984 Buick LeSabre LS. The fun I had in that car. My friends named it "The Iron Maiden". Smiley: lol Anyway pretty slick looking car Reeve.

Note: The picture isn't my actual car, just as an example to show of what the car looked like.

Are you of legal age to drive it yet? Or do you have to wait to drive it?

By the time I get it completley fixed up, I'll be able to drive it.

Around this spring is when I can get my Learner's Permit.

You do realize that an RX-7 doesn't have a back seat? Smiley: rolleyes

My second car was an RX-7. I loved that thing. I literally drove it into the ground.

Rotary engines are great, but make sure you keep that thing cooled well. The seals break very easily, so just be on top of the engines cooling system consistently during maintenance. ESPECIALLY if you get a turbo model or do any performance modifications.

Heed these words, for the sake of your car and the sake of your budget.

Grats on the new ride. Beats the hell out of my first car, a 1979 Ford F-250 that was held together by duct tape.

Eh, I don't have a first car worth being all nostalgic about. I was 22 and bought it because I was about to get married...2003 Ford Focus. I sure was thrilled with it though, even if I don't have duct tape or ******** in the back seat stories.

get a rear locker for ***** & giggles (it'll make both of your rear wheels rotate at the same time) It's cute. Even though you have two seats I imagine it won't be long before you figure out how to fit 6 people in it like a clown car.

my first was an 89 Honda Prelude. I learned to drive on an old Duster.

I miss my old 77 shagon wagon.

Mine was 2nd generation scooby-doo, a.k.a. The Tony Danza van

Quote:

The GMC Vandura, also sold as the Chevy Van, was a full-size van produced by GMC from 1970 (introduced in April 1970 as 1971 models), up until 1996. In 1996, in its last model year, it co-existed with a new generation full-size van, the Savana, which did not fully replace the Vandura until, of course, 1997.

Along with its Chevrolet twin - the second-generation G-series vans replaced the "breadloaf" (a.k.a. Scooby-Doo) 1964-70 generation. The previous generation was a modified passenger car platform (using components sourced from the Chevy II - primarily the powerplants and brakes), and the second generation Vandura used suspension parts from the Chevrolet/GMC C-series pickups. Ironically, 3/4 ton Chevrolet/GMC vans used ball joints from a 2500 series pickups while the brakes are HD versions used on their 1/2 tons. Powerplants and transmission choices were the same with their truck counterparts.

You're in for a whole lot of firsts. A First ticket, first accident and your first trip to the outrageous gas pump.

I miss my old 69 Ford truck.
