Yep, business as usual.

You know, the Deep South always gets a bad rap for racism, but I've notice that Ohio has probably the worst race relations (from all sides concerned) that I have eer personally seen.

When I'm not perusing forums, my job is actually to investigate claims of discrimination in the housing sector. I have seen and heard about some horrible things but this situation kind of got to me. I'm used to people who hate other people for stupid reasons like race and national origin. I'm not used to stupid people who want to pretend they are helping race relations when they are in fact worsening the situation.

You tell me. You did happen to respond.

That's what I think all of the "peaceniks" are about. It's their 15 minutes of fame, to get on TV, to get attention, to *feel* like they're doing something noble even if logic says they aren't actually making anything better.

Sometimes I think peace babies don't understand that making a positive difference in the world can mean simply keeping your mouth shut when you think you have something important to say, and sometimes it means actually doing something difficult and painful for your fellow man.

All of this surface stuff is just that. People trying to drown out the voices of everyone whose opinion they don't agree with and telling themselves they're protecting society. Hence the bullhorns. Anyone with a bullhorn isn't interested in *listening*.

And this goes for the current Liberal Democratic Party which has gone so far to the radical left that people alive in the 40's don't recognize it anymore.
