I adore Target and if it weren't for one small problem, I would never have to walk into a Walmart again (GOD I HATE THAT PLACE!). Target is superior to Walmart in every way except that they have no craft department! I can't see why, but oh well. I still have to go to wally world for yarn and the like.

Maybe someday..

Target's market strategy is pretty simple, but effective.

They try to keep their stores nicer than places like Walmart and to carry very few identical items. They have under 15% sku matchup with Walmart so when you go in there you know you're shopping in a different store for different goods.

Target or Targét, is great. Most of our home accents came from there home department. Even their exclusive Targét goods are modern and have great style. Targét > Wal-Mart. Wal-Mart is dirty and just infested with trashy people (at least in my area).

Also Targét has a great selection of candles.

I'm a kamakaze shopper. I get in, grab what I want, try it on, get out. I can't stand to shop for hours, but I do love pretty things.

I'm with you on that one. Unlike my sister, she can spend a whole Saturday going from store to store looking. I on the other hand see something, and if I'm in the mood will try it on if not see if it's my size and go with that.

I really like the housewares at Target. I bought all of the curtains for my apartment there, although I have noticed recently the curtain section at Wal-Mart has improved. The Martha Stewart stuff at K-Mart can be nice too; I have some kitchen stuff and some towels from her line.

Kohl's just moved to town here. I really like that place alot. It has much more of a department store feel without the department store prices.

Edit: Oh, and Kohl's has a great bra section, heh
