I'm bored.

A friend of mine is having a wedding with a 30's kind of feel. She's looking for dresses in a Tiffany blue, and driving me insane with links...until now.

I am fascinated by this store. Their dresses romance me while their prices insult me. Wah.

Isn't Walamrt getting sued for ripping off a whole line of Anthropologie clothing? If they survive it, you might want to check out your local Wally World.

I like the blue one better than the other. Are you actually in this wedding, or a guest?

In my opinion, the prices on those two dresses at least are not that crazy for a nice dress. Particurlarly if you are planning on wearing it again.

Oooh.

I am so bored. I'm actually excited about dressing to go to the drugstore.

This one is my favorite, but I can't do strapless.

I'm in the wedding. She has three bridesmaids and keeps thinking that she'll just let us loose to look for dresses that suit all three of us instead of imposing a dress on us.

Yeah, they're not bad, but still more that I would want to spend. And nobody wears a bridesmaid dress again.

Very nice. Anyone can do strapless with the right bra.

Well, yeah, but that is because most bridesmaid dresses -look- like what they are. If you are getting them from a dress shop instead of a bridal botique, why not wear it again? I dunno. I said that about my overpriced prom dresses and they collected dust, so, you are probably right.

Very very true. I thought I couldn't do strapless either, and stayed far far away from strapless bridal gowns. A saleswoman sorta forced me into one and it was an instant win. If the bra is the issue, those full body ones with all of the hooks work quite nicely instead of just the regular ones with just straps removed.

Both jackets are overpriced. Honestly, you could pick something similar up at the gap for 60-80 dollars. Just an opinion though.

Cute. Don't worry about Winter. She can always throw a coat over it and it's the kind of jacket that you can dress up and wear as a suit, or over jeans.

Not my taste, but I assume you know her better. I like this one. I get tired of brown and black in Winter, and I try to wear more colors.

$150 for a jacket in late Oct is not that bad actually. It is regularly priced and online. Go into the store during a sale, or wait till Feb/March and buy it deeply clearanced. You just have to hold onto it for a year.

I bought myself a really nice $300 black pea(?) coat for like $30 last year.

Thank You Flea for the site!

Just ordered the Mrs. This Jacket

Smiley: yippee

She has always liked Brown and I think this will actually match a lot of the stuff she wears out and to work. Maybe Ill pick up that pink long coat for Christmas, its actually something she would love.

Is it her birthday? For Christmas? Just because?

Edit: Another two sites that have women's clothing I love.
Arden B. (Still pricey, but not overwhelmingly so)
and
BCBG (Need a lotta loot, but Good God everything they make is amazing).

I love BCBG. Just about every wedding, formal party, family function I've hit BCBG for the dresses.

When's the wedding Flea?

July 2006. Sucks, because no matter what I choose to wear I'll be dripping in sweat and my hair will be frizzy. Virginia summers are humid as hell. Yay tidal basin!

Try this store, Flea. If there's one around you.

http://www.westonwear.com/

Or a store that carries their stuff...

Oh don't get me wrong, I would pay more than that actually for a good winter coat, but those just looked more like fall jackets. But buying a gift "just because?" That's awesome.

She has her super warm winter coat but she talked about getting a new "nice" coat. The one I picked has some decent insulation. Yeah it was a little pricey but I think its worth it. Now $156 for a shirt/pants/blouse..no way.

Pricey? Those clothes are cheap. Lets put it this way, I spent the equivalent of $400 on a jacket for my Sister last Christmas. And it was reduced.
