It's still in beta, so they've made it by invitation only. PM me your email and I'll invite you to gmail.

hey everybody, email me at beyondflatline@gmail.com if you would like an invite, I have about 90 left and I'm happy to give them away. GMail is truely awesome, espcially the insanely reliable spam filter, plus gmail.google.com is accessible at school and work, even if your workplace has the dreaded websense filtering.

Oh and check out video.google.com too, they have a couple of full episodes of aqua teen and robot chicken, watch them at school and work before they're taken off, because it's honestly not legal at all with people posting downloaded episodes on google's video server. Enjoy it while it lasts cuz they're gonna crack down on that once it comes out of beta.

I think Sabo set me up with an invite, I haven't even used the account. I can't remember the last time I even logged into it.

I like my gmail account. I don't use it for everything though. The thing I like about it most is it's POP mail so I can get it through Thunderbird (or OE) and not have to go to the web page.

You guys got 100 invites? all I got was 20.
It does work with thunder bird? I need to reinstal it since I uninstaled because none of my emails worked in it.

Yep. Gmail even has instructions somewhere on their site on how to set it up through Thunderbird.
