The PA lottery is 290 million- So what would you do if you won?
In what way would you quit your job? How would you live if you never had to worry about money again?

SO isfrom PA, i bet she';s hoarding thos tickets now.

She's in alot of debt from another college she was asked to leave. Whatever money i have left at the end of the month isend to her to help her pay of her loans so she can go back to college quicker.

She keeps telling me she needs to win the lottery. If either of us won im sure we'de go to college, pay it off, go shopping for new clothes, maybe a new car or two. Settle down in a nice house in a few yeas when the payments show up. Put the rest into some sort of investment.

I'd buy this site and ban you.

And pickleprince, because he left us. /butthurt

It will end up being less than $100 million if you take the cash option, which you would have to be stupid not to do. And you'd be suprised how much worrying you have to do about money once you have some.

To the point though, I wouldn't quit my job. I like it too much. I would work a whole lot less, but I wouldn't quit. They could fire me when I only showed up 20 weeks in the year, but I wouldn't quit.

Hell yes, I'd quit, but I only after they found my replacement.

Once I had the first couple of years of fun out of the way, I would set up the $10 million small business fund, and start a few companies, see if anything took. You can make a lot of different jobs comfortable if coming and going as you please in an Aston Martin Vanquish.

I'd buy enough socks so I never had to wear the same pair twice.

If I had a job, I'd keep it. Even if I hated it, I'd just go in for work like normal and laugh at my boss, wave wads of $100 bills in his face, and mock him for the fact that I'm richer than he is and I work for him...

...but I wouldn't quit.

I'd buy a few massive coin vaults just like Uncle Scrooge. This would follow by converting the entire fortune into Sacagawea Dollars, and i'd do nothing but swim in it all day. Oh, and fight off those pesky Beagle Boys.

I'd live without worry of material things. Just travel the world living day to day with no worries of what I need or might need. Complete lack of responsibility would be nice for a bit, methinks.

I would never have to worry about student loans again. Haha!!

Oh, and I would buy a house. Or two.

Buy a server for FFXI and have it placed in North America, to pay back the year and a half of pain the JP have caused us.....Hire a team of hackers and have all the known Gil sellers shutdown.

* I would first buy homes or vacation homes (their choice) for my mom, mother in law, both of my brother in laws & a nice ranch in Wyoming for my husband.
* I would then take care of any medical needs the family has.
*I would pay off all of my student loans.
*I would invest some in stocks, bonds & bank CDS.
*I would pay for my soon to be born niece to go to college.
*I would open a bookstore.
*I would buy my husband a fully finished 'Cuda & buy him an independant suspension for the M715 so he could also try to go rock crawling.
* I would finally make a large scholarship fund for economically challanged kids who live in the Adirondack & Blue Ridge Mountain regions.
I would continue to work, penny pinch and save so that my future generations will have a more comfortable life.

After paying off all my parent's, sister's and my debts, I'd buy all the land surrounding George W's ranch and build low-income housing.

Well, I would buy a small house. A cheap car.

then I would put the rest in a bank. Up to the max that is coverd, incase it gets robbed. As for the intrest, that is what I will play with. I would buy whatever I want whenever I want.

FDIC only covers 100,000$.

If you purchase insurance for more then that amount, then take half and play the stock market or try a business. You sure as hell won't be making anything off of the interest with it covered dollar for dollar.

Or you could try and find 2600 different banks....

First I would pay off my debts.
Second I would endow my position at the museum to get a nice pay raise along with a tax break. It would also ensure I could continue working there, as I do enjoy the job.
I would then take off for travel.
House, cars other things might follow. Oh and money for the nephews and nieces education.
