We were suppossed to have less than a week left.. now it's looking like it may be another couple of weeks.

The last little bit is the worst!! First, they were going to let us know two weeks out. Then they said nevermind on that. Then we were supposed to get a phone call at 36 hours (when the plane left Kuwait) even if it was at 2am. We just kept guessing as to when he was coming, and I had his family coming into town. I got a phone call from Mr. Kat in Germany, heh. I -finally- got the phone call from the unit 5 hours before the ceremony. So much for 36 hours notice.

Yeah, I'm guessing thats how this will work. No one told me a thing. I get a newsletter once a month about base happenings and thats it.

I just find libras to be maddeningly indecisive. Since I never slept with one (that I know of), I can't speak to your sluttiness.

Happy birthday to all you libras!

Happy happy birthday,

Hope the birthday presents

Happy Birthday Katie!

Wow, 24 huh? I would have figured you lost count after you turned 20 and ran out of appendages. How are your Father and Gramps doing? Still alive and kickin at the ripe age of 21?

If you can, look at your posts press releases. They should be on the internet. I am not sure how your particular post is, but I was sneaky and found out before any of the other wives I knew and just...read the press release. How nice of them to let the press know who is coming home before the wives!

Didnt know there were press releases. I know the date and time (well hopefully know the date and time if they dont change it again) so I'm not worried about that. What I am curious about is we have alot of family that wants to be at homecoming. I dont want to take them in my car and would enjoy it if they could drive themselves on and off base, I just dont know how to go about getting that arranged with security.

I know that here they didn't care what so ever. Usually they are very tight with security. In fact, his brother had a DUI and had his lisence revoked, so he had no ID at all. I started to explain it to the guard, and he laughed and said "we don't care today. go on."

Also, I arranged ahead of time to go to the gate with his family and get them visitor's passes. They look like the ones you would get in lieu of a sticker until you got one. With that, they can get on and off post without you. I don't see why your post would be any different. Just go to the gate and ask about it, it should work.

Awesome! Thank you very much for the information. I'm still fairly new at this military life thing.

When I came back from Kuwait my plane broke down for 4 days in Italy. We didn't know if we were flying out from one day to the next, we lined up at the terminal once or twice a day thinking we were leaving. Only to find out something else needed to be fixed. Even the military can't plan for everything.

Happy birfday.

Must be hard to walk without your breasts heating up to uncomfortable temperatures and all... You know, because of them sagging and sliding across the ground all friction like?

Here's to hoping that when you fall and break your hip nekkid in the shower, a grandchild will be close by to help you out before you shit yourself. Cheers Smiley: boozing

Much love babe. In all seriousness, congratulations.
