Agreed. And to say Disturbed is good rock is just ridiculous.

Let me break this down:

Disturbed=GodSmack=SevenDust=Drowning Pool=the list goes on.

System of a Down is good modern day rock, and I don't even like them.

And Green Day WAS punk in their day. As soon as the radio/age got to them, they went far far away. That is what their song "Time of Your Life" is all about. Them moving on. At least Billie Joe had the balls to say it, as opposed to some other bands (No Doubt comes to mind). Fu[b][/b]cking sell outs!

P.S. NOFX can go straight to hell. Fat Mike is the biggest phony and hypocrite of all (and I use to love them).

No, they are just copies of copies of other commercial *****. Do your fu[/b]cking homework. What Emo has been turned into [b]is just a bunch of whiney tw[i][/i]ats.

Good old emo rock is in the same grave as punk. They have been replaced with "Mallcore" as I call it.

Disturbed was never my cup of tea. They came along 'round when the whole Nu-metal movement was getting big.

In light of new albums coming out, I just picked up Opeth's Ghost Reveries. Not everyones really going to like it if it's not you're kind of music but there's no denying the musicianship of the songs.

No, they are not the best. Yes, there were MANY before them, but they are the ones that brough Emo into the commercial mainstream for good. His first band, At the Drive In, was much better anyway.

Nu-metal is another name for rap-metal, what people have labeled ****** bands like Limp-Bizkit and KoRn.

System of Down doesn't sound too "rappish" to me... and that's the only band that I KNOW is labeled that. (Wu-Tang covers don'y count)
