Is it just me or does it sound like he has no idea what the hell he's even supposed to be talking about?

Yes, this is the first time I've not changed the channel when that idiot came on.

What a moran

I seriously suspect the guy is somehow developmentally disabled. Or maybe he just fried his brain with all the coke and drinking. My mom was once quite witty, but at the age of 52, having stopped drinking on a regular basis some ten years ago, sometimes she just comes off as a complete idiot. That's what years of booze will do to you.

To borrow a quote from Summer School: "Alcohol kills brain cells, and if you two lose any more, you'll be talking monkeys."

I think that is why I can't stand to watch or listen to him. It always sounds like he's drunk and slurring his speech. Not to mention the way he is always stammering. Annoying.

He reminds me of a bad french film. Boring, pointless, humorless, and above all it makes you sick to watch.

I heard him for a bit on the radio, but after few minutes of "Um, ah, err, well, you know, ah..." I switched it off.

Its like the drunken master fighting style.

Harriet Mier said he was the most brilliant man she's ever met, and she will likely be on the Supreme Court for the next several decades. *shudders*

Nah. People are just plain stupid in general. Go check out any high school freshman class and it becomes oh-so-obvious.

In reality, the Supreme court has (inadvertantly) been handing Republicans a free pass on loads of their wacky views for a long while now. Republicans try to make abortion illegal, get rid of affirmative action, prosecute consentual adult private sexual behavior - and the SCOTUS overturns the law as unconstitutional. People vote for the Right and get tax breaks but they don't get the bizzare socially "conservative" views.

If enough justices are nominated by Republicans (we're holding firm at 7 of 9...apparently they'll need more...) and people actually begin to get the full effect of the people they are voting for maybe the public will change who they vote for.

Maybe not.

I thought Bush would be great but he kinda cant make up his mind. But when you say he makes himself look stupid on purpose to make people under estimate him you mean so people misunder estimate him.
